Tie-Down Violation: Jeep

Tie-Down Violation: Jeep

Sep 29, '20

It's not often we see such a nice truck and trailer, with such poor tie downs.

  • Our recommendation is to not cross straps. (learn why)
  • The webbing is routed through potentially sharp wheels.
  • Open hooks are being attached to an anchor point and to themselves. The slightest loss in tension and these straps are rendered useless.

Our Solution: Mac's Pro Pack

Because of the Jeep's height, the axle straps on the Mac's Pro Pack can easily route around the front and rear housings. Or, use the included fleece sleeve to route through the wheels.
