Mac's ATV Wheel Net Pack is the ideal way to transport your ATV. By eliminating the suspension preloading required by conventional tie down straps. With Mac's ATV Wheel Nets, you secure your ATV by the tires, allowing the ATV's suspension to remain active and the tie-downs to remain tight for the entire trip.

Advantages of a Wheel Net System

With conventional tie-down straps, you attach to the chassis and draw down to generate sufficient compression in the shocks to hold the vehicle in place. This constant load on the suspension, coupled with loads experienced during transit, can elevate the risk of blowing a shock seal. And a change in compression could lead to slack, which can increase the load spikes, unduly stressing the strap material.

Mac's ATV Wheel Nets avoid these complications by locking the tires in place. By affixing the tires, the ATV's suspension is allowed to operate as designed, absorbing the shocks of the road. And isolated from the chassis movement, the wheel nets maintain their tension as well at the end of the road as when you started.

A snug-fitting wheel net is critical to ensuring your vehicle is well secured. Our ATV wheel nets are adjustable and specifically designed to fit 24" to 26" diameter tires.

ATV owners sometimes choose to swap out their OEM tires for larger aftermarket sizes, at a later date. Our Adjustable ATV Wheel Net includes an adjustable leg, so if you do change tire size you can use the same wheel nets. With a simple adjustment, this pack will fit a wide range of tires

To determine whether our Adjustable ATV Wheel Net will work for you, simply measure, in inches, the height H and width W of your front and rear tires, rounded to the nearest 1/2 inch . Compare these dimensions to the following table. If your dimensions fall in range, you're good to go.

Each Mac's ATV Wheel Net is designed to a 2,800lb Minimum Breaking Strength (MBS), giving you plenty of safety margin for even the heaviest ATV. Macs uses the highest quality strap material available, significantly improving chafing and UV resistance over "standard" straps. We then fabricate our wheel net with the highest stitch count in the industry.

Smooth Ratcheting

Mac's ratchets are well known for how easily they operate, every time. Our unique design resists the binding that can occur on other ratchets from dirt or racking.

Choose your Attachment Style

Flat Snap Hook Attachment Style

The Flat Snap Hook system consists of captive hooks at each end. The advantage of these standard hook ends is that they can be used with most anchor points (e.g., D Rings) or track system (e.g., VersaTie, E-Track, etc.), provided the hard points and fittings support the load requirement.

This is a good choice if you already have standard tie-down points on your deck, especially if your hardpoints are on the perimeter of the trailer.

VersaTie^TM Anchor Attachment Style

The VersaTie Anchor option is a good choice due to the ease of installation. The included deck hardware installs on the surface of the deck, using the two included stainless steel screws and zinc-coated backing plate. The Mac's ATV Wheel Net ends are terminated with an integrated Single Stud Tie Down Ring, which easily snaps into the VersaTie Anchor.

For even more versatility, you can use this attachment style with any of our VersaTie track or track kits.

Convenient Storage

When you've arrived, store your wheel nets in the included Mac's Large Tool Bag. The tough canvas body of this bag is ready to handle your tie down hardware. The bag now includes a heavy duty, large-lug zipper that is easily grasped when wearing gloves.

An internal frame has been added to support the bag when it's open, making the contents more accessible. The generous interior is large enough to hold a complete set of 2" tie-downs, with room to spare.

The integral handles are made of black webbing that wraps around the bottom for better weight support and a hook-and-loop strap wraps around the handles to keep them together for easy transport.
