Only the highest quality strap material is used, which significantly improves chafing and UV resistance over "standard" straps.

Recent design changes to our ratchet handles make them better than ever! The strap mandrel is now free-wheeling, eliminating any "stickiness" common when adjusting most other ratchets.
The one piece handle and addition of mandrel caps makes this handle 40% more rigid and keeps debris out of the moving parts.

Advantages of the Direct Hook Option
Mud, dirt and sharp edges can fuzz and degrade a strap from the regular chaffing during transport. That's why we add an additional layer of protection around the axle portion of each strap. We add a 20inch Cordura sleeve around the axle portion of the strap to shield your tie down from excessive wear.

Introducing Our New "Direct Hook" End Option
We offer both "sewn" and "direct hook" end configurations, however the direct hook is by far the most popular, since it keeps the ratchet handle out from under your chassis.
The sewn end is the traditional end configuration, where a fixed length of webbing separates the attachment hook from the ratchet handle.
The Direct Hook option connects the attachment hook directly to the ratchet handle, moving it out to your attach point to give you superior access, especially in cases where chassis clearance might be a problem. We recommend this end style for most applications.
Optional Chain Extensions for Stake Pockets
Using Chain Extensions for Trailers without D-ring Attach Points
Using a standard hook configuration on a stake pocket is asking for trouble, since it takes the hook 90 degrees out of the line of force for which it was designed. Select the chain extension option to safely tie down to a stake pocket if your trailer doesn't have D-rings. With chain extensions, you can pull in any direction while maintaining the 10,000 lb load capacity.
Convenient Storage
Your Pro Pack kit comes with Macs Strap Wraps. After securing your vehicle, use these to neatly hold excess strapping in place.
And when you've arrived, use them to bundle each strap for storage in the included heavy duty Macs padded bag. The tough canvas body is ready to handle your tie down hardware, with a heavy-duty, large-lug zipper that is easily grasped when holding gloves. An internal frame supports the bag when open, making the contents more accessible. The integral handles are made of black webbing that wraps around the bottom for better weight support and a hook-and-loop strap wraps around the handles to keep them together for easy transport.

We carefully sew and assemble each tie down strap in our Sandpoint, Idaho shop, allowing to retain a level of quality that is often lost to outsource. Plus, we feel good about creating American jobs!

- Strap Length: Choose between 6 and 8 foot strap lengths.
- Axle Strap Length: The 24" length is perfect for securing around the axle or undercarriage. The 40" length can be used through-the-wheel of vehicles with low ground clearance and is long enough for most wide tires.

Ratchet End Style: The "Direct Hook" is typically the best choice, since it moves the ratchet out from under the car. Our "Sewn End" is an option for when unusual space constraints or trailer configurations don't allow for the Direct Hook option.
