Recent design changes to our ratchet handles make them better than ever! The strap mandrel is now free-wheeling, eliminating any "stickiness" common when adjusting most other ratchets.
The one piece handle and addition of mandrel caps makes this handle 40% more rigid and keeps debris out of the moving parts.

Advantages of the Direct Hook Option
For the side that attaches to the trailer, we offer both "sewn" and "direct hook" end configurations. Our direct hook option is by far the most popular.
The sewn end is the traditional end configuration, where a fixed length of webbing separates the attachment hook from the ratchet handle.
The Direct Hook option makes it easy to adjust tie downs under your vehicle. It connects the attachment hook directly to the ratchet handle, moving it out toward the attach point to give you superior access, especially in cases where chassis clearance might be a problem. We recommend this end style for most applications.
Convenient Storage
Your Factory Tie-down Point Strap Pack comes with Macs Strap Wraps. Use these to neatly hold excess strapping in place after the vehicle is secured.
And when you've arrived, use the strap wraps to bundle each strap for storage in the included Mac's Large Canvas Tool Bag. The tough canvas body of this bag is ready to handle your tie down hardware. The bag now includes a heavy duty, large-lug zipper that is easily grasped when wearing gloves. An internal frame has been added to support the bag when it's open, making the contents more accessible. The generous interior is large enough to hold a complete set of 2" tie downs, with room to spare. The integral handles are made of black webbing that wraps around the bottom for better weight support and a hook-and-loop strap wraps around the handles to keep them together for easy transport.

We carefully sew and assemble each tie down strap in our Sandpoint, Idaho shop, allowing us to retain a level of quality that is often lost when manufacturing is outsourced. Plus, we feel good about creating American jobs!
Choose Your Strap Options:
- Transport Hook Style: To attach to your vehicle, choose between industry standard "J", "T" or "R" hooks options. Or, for maximum flexibility, select our Transit Cluster, which combines all three hook styles into a single assembly.
- Ratchet End Style: The "Direct Hook" is typically the best choice, since it moves the ratchet out from under the car. Our "Sewn End" is an option for when unusual space constraints or trailer configurations don't allow for the Direct Hook option.
- Color: Choose from several strap colors to complement your car or trailer.
