The Right Choice for Tight Clearances
Threading the axle strap around an axle of a low ground clearance vehicle can be tricky. The Ultra Pack make things easier by shaping the axle strap for tight clearance and rotating the hook latch 90 degrees to the strap, aligning it for easy connection to the axle strap rings.
Strong and Durable
Fabricated using the thickest material and highest stitch count available, each 2 inch strap is rated for a 10,000 lb operating load. The hooks on both ends are designed so the latches are oriented perfectly when attaching to trailer mount points.
Only the highest quality strap material is used, which significantly improves chafing and UV resistance over "standard" straps.

Recent design changes to our ratchet handles make them better than ever! The strap mandrel is now free-wheeling, eliminating any "stickiness" common when adjusting most other ratchets.
The one piece handle and addition of mandrel caps makes this handle 40% more rigid and keeps debris out of the moving parts.

Mud, dirt and sharp edges can fuzz and degrade a strap from the regular chaffing during transport. That's why we add an additional layer of protection around the axle portion of each strap. A 20inch Cordura sleeve shields the axle strap from excessive wear.
Need to tie something else down for transport? Since the axle strap is removable, these tie downs offer more versatility than integrated axle strap solutions.
Strap Wraps Hold Your Straps Neatly in Place
Your Ultra Pack kit comes with Macs Strap Wraps. After securing your vehicle, use these to neatly hold excess strapping in place.
And when you've arrived, use them to bundle each strap for storage in the included heavy duty Macs padded bag. The tough canvas body is ready to handle your tie down hardware, with a heavy-duty, large-lug zipper that is easily grasped when holding gloves. An internal frame supports the bag when open, making the contents more accessible. The integral handles are made of black webbing that wraps around the bottom for better weight support and a hook-and-loop strap wraps around the handles to keep them together for easy transport.
Introducing Our New "Direct Hook" End Option
We offer both "sewn" and "direct hook" end configurations, however the direct hook is by far the most popular, since it keeps the ratchet handle out from under your chassis.
The sewn end is the traditional end configuration, where a fixed length of webbing separates the attachment hook from the ratchet handle.
The Direct Hook option connects the attachment hook directly to the ratchet handle, moving it out to your attach point to give you superior access, especially in cases where chassis clearance might be a problem. We recommend this end style for most applications.
Optional Chain Extensions for Stake Pockets
Using Chain Extensions for Trailers without D-ring Attach Points
Using a standard hook configuration on a stake pocket is asking for trouble, since it takes the hook 90 degrees out of the line of force for which it was designed. Select the chain extension option to safely tie down to a stake pocket if your trailer doesn't have D-rings. With chain extensions, you can pull in any direction while maintaining the 10,000 lb load capacity.
